5-POINT STRATEGY (for adding a new country)

1)     A scout goes to a country’s national CALL symposium to handpick:

a)     potential university-level CALL leaders       P’s or N’s

b)    potential poly-tech sector leaders               P’s or N’s

c)     potential private-sector leaders                   P’s

d)    (en route) potential Esperanto translators    (any E:P:N rating)

2)     Commission esperantists to translate (into their country’s official language) sufficient:

a)     corpora/texts for Phase 4, the tri-lingual C-test project. (Note: Official C-Test texts are in English only and need to remain in English only.)

b)    at least one year of the daily Big Cheese sayings

c)     instructions and recommendations for using the C-test program

d)    tailored materials to help market the E:P:N process to all three sectors

3)     Those now in the program select, by invitation, the first 45-member virtual classroom team (whose 13 self-proclaimed Neutrons report to me for two years to facilitate the collection of nation-specific data). See http://clozeonline.us/Beijing/Structures.htm.

4)     After two years, we publish the results, in a tri-lingual fashion, to permit the commercialization of the process throughout the private sector. And –

5)     Transfer control of the study’s two scholastic sectors to their respective governing authorities (after offering service contracts with local, national, or international E:P:N consultants to facilitate a smooth transfer and the ongoing successful implementation of pertinent E:P:N-related research).

DISCLAIMER:

You can tell that I envision Esperantists to take on the responsibility of translating texts, instructions, and recommendations into their country’s official language without promoting the use of Esperanto per se. I do hope to appeal to the idealism of its speakers and I am counting on the simplicity of Esperanto grammar to aid with the restoration of English texts, but my focus is strictly on the teaching of English as a foreign language—to aid with the using of English as a vehicle for international communication.

The fact that this E:P:N research will add face validity to Esperanto in the process is strictly incidental. My membership affiliations with Esperanto clubs are intended to be business relationships.
