THAT GAVE CREDENCE TO THE E:P:N THEOREM:
Mike
Levy highlighted that the keywords in articles by opposing camps were mutually
exclusive: that what one considered to be valid and important, the other didn’t.
(From the E:P:N perspective, they must have been
keywords from papers written by a proton and an electron soul respectively. Had
the keywords overlapped considerably, I would have presumed they were written
by a neutron soul. Some overlap in
keywords is found in extreme camps, but usually out of courtesy or to criticize
the other.)
REFLECTION & INPUT: Protons and electrons (in any
complex environment) seem to be doomed to see only one side of an issue. Physicists
tell us that without neutrons, complex atoms (productive workgroups) cannot long
exist. As teachers, we have the responsibility of being that neutron element to
permit the stable growth of our students. The E:P:N
classroom will help us do that. In fact, I am convinced that whatever a CALL
lab can do, an E:P:N classroom can do better.
