TO SET THE STAGE (end of Chapter I)

You and I are not so much SUSTAINED by a trinity as we ARE the trinity. We may choose to function as only one of its operands, but we are also and always a potentially unique composite of all three . . . not unlike the relationships that exist between the primary colors and their countless combinations. The next two chapters deal with the laws that govern them. Chapter IV suggest a practical application.
First, to set the stage, nine translations of Exodus 3:14&15. All are slightly different, but all agree that "I AM" is the name of God, the name of that which creates . . . and most translations agree that God asked to be invoked by the sound of His name. In short, be careful of what you say after the words "I AM", because you are invoking the creative process every time you do! The Qu-ran states essentially the same.

I, THAT ILLUSIVE GODLIKE SELF,
WHAT IS IT?

"I" is Adam, that person within who asks the questions to which Eve, His subservient offspring, lacks reasonable answers. The conscious part of the I AM is the creative intelligence of the universe. The I uses the process of WONDERING to become the I AM.
"I wonder if I could do this?" "I wonder if I could learn to knit and sew like this?" "I wonder if I could draw or paint like this?" "I wonder if I could sing and play music like this?" The asking of these questions is the process of evolution as it applies to Consciousness.
The process matures through three stages. Stage one: The young I AM says, "I wonder if I could?" Stage two: The soul begins to see progress and says, "Yes, I think I can." Stage three: The soul becomes convinced and says, "Aha! I thought I could do this. Now I know I can."
From that point forward, no one is likely ever to destroy that conviction. Once Adam says, I know I can do this," nothing can stop him from continuing the task. He, therefore, by virtue of being both the programmer and the operator of the brain, becomes the creator and master of his personal universe.
Affirmations such as the one following will prepare your mental computer to respond favorably to your wishes. Jesus said, "Even before Abraham, I was." He knew that the I AM Consciousness (that spoke to Moses from behind the burning bush on Mt Sinai) was there long before we became conscious of it. Now that you, too, know the truth, don't misuse it. Cherish it. Remember, while you have the capacity to wonder, you have the capacity to achieve! The innate process of wondering allows the seeds of perfection to blossom to maturity.

AFFIRMATION
I am still, yet I am at one with every sound and symphony of life.
I AM a vibrant expression and extension of Pure Consciousness--a true manifestation of Intelligent Energy.
Physically, I am a cell in the body of God. I am a unique embodiment of Spirit--a perfectly functioning mechanism. I am a self-contained universe that is eager to adjust to all new conditions.
Mentally, I am a willfully energized brain. In full Consciousness, I am Creative Mind in action. At this very moment, Pure Consciousness and Creative Mind are reconditioning my brain to be ever resourceful and ready to function in the interest of common good.
Emotionally, I am surrounded and guided by Divine Love. This indiscriminating Love so invigorates my entire being, that I have chosen to let these vibrant forces guide my life and bathe my every thought.
I am happy. I am whole. I am a radiating center of happiness. I am an integral part of the cosmos--a Conscious soul. This I now recognize and celebrate. And so it is.

Chapter Two

IN HIS IMAGE, Part I
Adam and Eve, the two aspects of mind

In Gen 1:26&27, Gen 2:7&1-23, & Gen 3:6-21, when one substitutes the word Man with mind, and the words Adam and Eve with Conscious and subconscious; most, especially those familiar with the peculiar makeup of intelligent energy, are likely to agree that the story now takes on a palatable meaning. Why? Because now, there is no longer an anthropomorphic god creating and cursing an unequal household regime; it now talks about the creation of contemplative intelligence and its relationship to earth. It is now a perfect description of the diverse relationships between the Conscious and subconscious aspects of Mind. It even describes their respective rights in and responsibilities to their new earth environment.
The precepts were simple: God gave Adam, the Conscious, the right to observe and choose . . . the right to manage his environment. He gave Eve, created out of Adam's rib, the ability to perpetuate His thoughts and foster new life. Adam, the Conscious, now had the right to give orders; Eve, the subconscious, had the responsibility and wisdom to obey them. It is only too bad that our

forefathers construed this male-female relationship to refer to the physical. Had they made themselves more clear, male-chauvinism would never have grown to be so rampant!
From this new perspective, the Adam and Eve story describes perfectly the creation of contemplative intelligence. Think of it, how could our inspired thinkers, including Moses, have passed down wisdom and leave out the creation of intelligence. Unfathomable! I think, the creation story explains how God, the Conscious Intelligence of the universe, created out of Itself an extension of Itself. . . . The allegory explains how God created man's higher Self--the contemplative aspect of soul. Both the Bible and the Koran explain how God created that portion of man . . . which grows from first saying "Who am I?" to eventually saying "I AM!"
REFERENCES TO REMEMBER:
I want to draw special attention to the first and last of the Adam and Eve references. The last, Gen 3:21, states: AND THE LORD GOD MADE FOR ADAM AND HIS WIFE, GARMENTS OF SKIN. After describing the complicated relationships between Conscious intelligence and its new beastly earth environment, God gave the two aspects of Mind garments of skin! Could anyone have said it more simply or beautifully?
Equally significant are the first references, Gen 1:26&27. LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR IMAGE, AFTER OUR LIKENESS . . . SO, IN THE IMAGE OF GOD HE CREATED HIM; MALE AND FEMALE HE CREATED THEM. It states that God endowed mankind (singular) with plural aspects of mind. Only this new analogy can explain the otherwise unexplainable change from the singular to the plural. Remember, the I AM is not born of the flesh; it is born of the Spirit, of THE GREAT I AM that spoke to Moses from behind the burning bush on Mount Sinai! You, whether male or female, are BOTH ADAM AND EVE!

IN HIS MAGE, Part II
THE TREES OF EDEN

Gen 2:9 states, God placed the tree of knowledge in the middle of the Garden of Eden . . . suggesting that knowledge and the fruits of it should be revered as the most prized of one's possessions. Yet why, I asked myself, did God order Adam not to eat its fruits? God specifically told Adam to avoid the tree of knowledge if he wanted to live. What was the meaning of this command? Was it a whim or fancy? A possible plot? A staged trap to lead Adam into temptation?
Contemplation and meditation convinced me otherwise. It convinced me that this command was not to keep Adam from becoming equal with God, but to keep him from eating the fruits of history. Would you not agree "the tree of knowledge of good and evil" is about as descriptive a term as anyone could coin to describe history? Isn't History the sum of accumulated knowledge . . . the knowledge of good and evil? I am sure God gave this command to teach the Conscious Adam to revere history rather than eat it . . . to "make" history, not live off its fruits.
Let us recall the details. (1) God said to Adam, "In the day that you eat of the fruit you shall die." (2) The serpent (carnal senses) beguiled Eve (the subconscious) to eat of the fruit for it would make them see as God could see. (3) Eve, unable to question the truth of this reasoning, took of its fruit and ate; she also gave some to her husband, and He ate. (4) God appeared and asked: "Have

you eaten of the tree of which I have commanded you not to eat?" (5) Adam, ashamed not to have heeded God's command (at the time Eve handed him the fruit), put all the blame on Eve (his subconscious) who, in turn, blamed the serpent (the carnal senses).
The entire story follows a natural chain of events. Take note how God brought these events into focus, how He assigned duties and described relationships between the characters in this His cast. The story represents probably the most accurate description of the two aspects of mind, their relationship to one another, and their respective relationship to the serpent, the symbol of beastly behavior; to wit:
(Gen 3:14-17) The Lord God said to the carnal senses, "Because you have done this, cursed are you above all cattle and above all wild animals; upon your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life." (Making carnal temptations a permanent part of life.) I will put enmity between you and the subconscious, and between your seed and her seed; He, the Conscious, shall bruise your head (to control you), and you shall bruise His heel (to keep him alert)."
To the subconscious he said, "I will greatly multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children, yet your desire shall be for your husband, the Conscious, and He shall rule over you." (Subconscious struggles shall be painful.)
And to the Conscious he said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife (the subconscious) and have eaten of the tree of which I have commanded you, "You shall not eat of it, cursed is the ground because of you; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life." (Mind shall toil and dwell in physical realms until it has outgrown its karmic constraint--its curse.)

PRACTICAL DO'S & DONTS:

Heed God's command; refrain from making the fruits of the tree of knowledge an integral part of you. Let us study and treasure historical knowledge, but let us not regurgitate the wrongdoing of our ancestors. Yes, the fruits of the tree of knowledge should be our most prized possession, but they should not be construed to be anything other than a collection of facts . . . a collection of joys and sorrows experienced by someone in the past. If we wish to live a productive spiritual life, you and I must not eat of this fruit! History is HIS story, not OUR story!

Each time you succumb to the call of the serpent (to gossip), you are reliving the fall of man. If you feel compelled to read about current events and their cancerous effects, do it in the morning before you begin your day, not at night before retiring. Morning news allows you to decide whether, that day, you wish to be an integral part of the problem or an active seeker of a solution.

History, the tree of knowledge of good and evil, is to be the focal point of your earthly possessions. It is destined to tempt you with its forbidden fruit until your preoccupation with the physical and sexual is diverted to the spiritual.

Though Gen 3:15 states that enmity shall remain between the serpent and Eve, it also states that Adam, the Conscious, shall know how to bruise the serpent's head. . . . You and I shall know how to control all temptations.

In 3:16, God addresses Eve, saying: "In pain you shall bring forth children," meaning, it will be difficult for you to add to your habits. Fortunately, God continued with: "Yet your desire shall be for your husband; and He shall rule over you," meaning, the subconscious mind will judiciously oblige to obey Adams orders. So decide today what habits need replacing, then proceed in doing that; any system will work if you work it!

Once fully aware of the effects of the garden's trees and their fruits, Mind will choose to refrain from regurgitating the fruits of history. "Instead, the Conscious will reach out His hand to the adjoining Tree of Life and eat, and live for ever." (3:22) ... Mind will then be what God created it to be: A TRUE EXTENSION OF CONSCIOUS ETERNAL LIFE!

ACCORDING TO THE KORAN:

Equally exciting is the wording of the creation of Adam in the Holy Koran. It states, (S.ii.30-39) C.45, "Yet man! What wonderful destiny Is Thine! Created to be God's vicegerent on earth! A little higher than angels!" . . . "I know what ye know not." And He taught Adam the nature of all things; then He placed them before the angels, and said: "Tell me the nature of these if ye are right." They said: "Glory to Thee: of knowledge we have none, save what Thou hast taught us: in truth it is Thou who art perfect in knowledge and wisdom." He said: "O Adam! Tell them their natures." When he had told them, God said: "Did I not tell you that I know secrets of heaven and earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal?" And behold, We said to the angels: "Bow down to Adam," and they bowed down.
Though it goes on saying, "Iblis refused and was haughty," strict obedience was an angel's expected behavior. To me, the Koran follows the Judeo-Christian example of giving no volitional power to angels. . . . Whatever and whoever was born before Adam, was now to bow in obedience. Adam was now God's Vicegerent.
I think it appropriate and encouraging that both branches of the House of Abraham agree on this most vital aspect of human life. Both agree on the birth of Consciousness and its obvious superiority over angels, the metaphor for subservient intelligence. According to the Koran, God made Adam vice president and partner of His business on earth. (Actually, vicegerent means co-manager.)

Granted, ancient interpretations did not explain that Adam was something more than just the first man on earth; but these first vital scriptures, when viewed without prejudice, did and still do, give an accurate account of the birth of intelligence. If this had not been the intended meaning of the creation story, Mohammed and Jesus would not have lobbied so diligently for the divinity of mankind, including women! "Let that mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus" was not an empty command, but a reminder that God-consciousness was innate and accessible to all.
Ask yourself: Isn't it about time that we update our beliefs and accept the message that women are, by intent, equal heirs to God's estate? As the true givers of life, they have to possess what they are expected to give! If anyone had to have been born first, it would have had to be the female. Though this idea obviously was not expedient to our forefathers, we have no right to perpetuate this prejudice for ever!
Please rethink the creation stories. Doing so will not only lessen the crippling effects of chauvinism, it will finally open heaven's gates to compassionate evolutionists who wish to enter and enjoy the world of faith and religious camaraderie.

Chapter Three

TRINTIES, Part I:
THE ORIGINAL DIMENSION: LOVE

I believe that Christ or Christ-consciousness is a spiritual frequency that indwells all intelligent life forms, including man. Christ-consciousness, the consciousness so well expressed in Jesus, was, is, and will remain the driving force within all expressions of Divine Love. Though frequently ignored by reasoning minds, the dimension of Love must have been the original spark of life-giving energy.
I believe religions based strictly on science are necessary and useful to those in need of logic, but today's science cannot, as yet, explain the full essence of life. Though research confirms that we have a closer kinship with the creative process than we first suspected, we are far from understanding the finer aspects of evolution.
Unlike scientists (who pursue the measurable), Jesus pursued the unmeasurable values of life--the values and qualities of LOVE and the advantages of turning the other cheek. I think of him as the greatest of the prophets, for it was He who first added the irrational dimension of LOVE to the sciences of life. Love is the "pyramiding" aspect of life.
An excellent summary of love in action was shared by the Apostle Paul (I Cor 13):

Jesus taught about love. He taught us how to love our Father within. He taught us how to love our neighbor (as ourselves). He taught us how to tap the giving-ness of the Spirit; He reminded us that it was THE FATHER'S GOOD PLEASURE TO GIVE US THE KINGDOM.
Something else He made an issue of. He said, IN MY FATHER's HOUSE THERE ARE MANY MANSIONS.
Let us decide, pen in hand, which of God's many mansions we wish to occupy. We have the choice! Also, Jesus promised and predicted that THOSE WHO ASK, SHALL RECEIVE AND THOSE WHO SEARCH, SHALL FIND. I wonder what all He meant to imply? I WONDER . . .

APPEAL:

1. STOP, TAKE INVENTORY. Take time to count your talents. Listen to your higher self as it speaks to you. Remember the parable of the talents: It speaks of the son who buried his talents to keep them safe only to be scolded and punished for having done so. On reconciliation, he had to return them. The other son spent his talents but received praise for doing so. If you agree with the implications of this parable then decide to spend your talents . . . by developing at least some of your innate abilities and sharing them.

2. DISCOVER LOVE. Since love is the universal bonding agent, decide to grow beyond the confines of pure science. Do study the sciences and develop your intellect, but do not stay blind and deaf to the voices and vibrations of Love. Discover them. Enjoy them. Share them.
3. PLAN AHEAD. Think. Plan. Then work your plan in a spirit of joyful expectation. Christ, the Master Teacher, will coach you and speak to you whenever you choose to listen. Remember, it was written, BEFORE YE CALL, I SHALL ANSWER.

TRINITIES, Part II:
A CHRISTIAN CONTROVERSY

Whether to call Jesus (the man) "Jesus the Christ," "Jesus Christ" or "Christ Jesus" has been a controversy for centuries. Scholars could not and still cannot agree as to when Jesus of Nazareth became divine. It seems as though only students of the mental sciences fully agreed on the oneness of the trinity and the laws of mind. Orthodoxy still does not believe that all of us use the same laws Jesus did while he prayed, preached and healed in the name of His Father.
Remember that Paul wrote to the Philippians (2:5), "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus."

JESUS, THE MAN

Yes, I believe Jesus was a man, mortal as any other, loving and feeling as any other, and with a brain functioning as any other. Yet Jesus was also divine. MAN or MANKIND, by this original definition, suggests CONSCIOUSNESS SUPERIOR TO ALL ELSE!
On healing and forgiving of sins, Mat 9:6 states, KNOW THAT THE SON OF MAN HAS POWER ON EARTH TO FORGIVE SINS. Jesus raised the dead and healed the sick . . . all in the name of His Father. You and I are of the same heritage. We are of the same substance. We can learn to do likewise.
Does this not suggest that Jesus, the man, was aware of his kinship with a higher power . . . a power that He chose to call OUR FATHER? Does it not also suggest that He was aware of an evolutionary progression within life? To me, it is evident that He knew Himself to be a conscious element of the divine hierarchy. He knew himself to be JESUS, THE CHRIST.

In John 14:10, we read, "The words I speak unto you, I speak not of myself; but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works . . . Go and do ye likewise. Jesus also said, Jn 14:12, "All the works that I do, shall ye do also, and works even greater than these shall ye do."

JESUS, THE CHRIST

Is it not true that Jesus became known for His ability to function in a world superior to the one we conceive through our senses? Is it not also true that Jesus told the multitudes that our Father, being of and in Spirit, can be worshiped ONLY IN SPIRIT?
Was Jesus pure Spirit? Was He "of" Spirit? Or was He simply communicating "with" Spirit?
I believe JESUS, THE CHRIST, could be interpreted to mean JESUS, THE SPIRITUAL ONE or JESUS, THE INCARNATION OF SPIRIT. Both statements acclaim His divinity . . . and thereby ours.

In Genesis it states, AND IN HIS IMAGE AND LIKENESS HE CREATED THEM. Does this not suggest that we were born in the same image and likeness of God as Jesus was? Then Jesus, the Christ, stands for not only JESUS, THE SPIRITUAL SON OF GOD, but also for INCARNATE MAN, THE SPIRITUAL SON OF GOD. Both are manifestations of a higher Spirit; both represent the final product of the spiritual trinity.
Jesus, when confronted by Pontius Pilate (whether he claimed to be God), replied: IS IT NOT WRITTEN IN THE LAW THAT YE ARE ALL GODS? Therefore, let us conceive ourselves to be the moreness that allows us to soar (mentally) from the microcosm of the atom to the lofty realms of distant stars with a speed faster than light. Let this Consciousness be your Christ. Let this Christ be your Consciousness.

JESUS CHRIST

The entity Jesus Christ was Consciousness at the point of self-realization. To me, Jesus Christ added the dimension of volitional Consciousness to the duality of the oriental yin and yang. He presented an additional method for attaining control over earth-bound desires.
Jesus, the man, aligned himself with his Father, by that purifying and balancing his desires until he became one with the Spirit . . . until he became Jesus Christ and worthy of the title CHRIST JESUS.

Much like the titles "Doctor" and "Judge" express respect and reverence for a person's accomplishments, "Christ Jesus," too, is a title of honor. Christ Jesus is a salute to the God-consciousness that expressed itself in and through the Consciousness and body of Jesus. I salute it often. Daily, I salute MY Christ within, my real self, and I salute YOUR Christ within, your real self. Join me now in a salute to the rest of mankind, they deserve our acknowledgement.

TRINITIES, Part III
THE MICROCOSM: Where do I fit?

"Are you an introvert, an ambivert, or an extrovert?" Thirty years ago, this question arose during my training in the dance industry. I appreciated its teaching value, yet the more I heard the questions and the answers, the more I dreaded the idea of classifying. I refused to be classified . . . especially not into categories that sounded, despite their mixture. unattractive at best.
I knew I was not an introvert; neither was I an extrovert! That, by definition, made me an ambivert. But I did not want to be an ambivert! Number one, who would know what an ambivert was, and number two, who wants to be a combination of two things one didn't like? I surely didn't.
It was that early dislike for "labeling" that kept me looking for an acceptable vocabulary that describes human behavior--for an appropriate set of memory pegs that I could use in my profession. Well I found such a mechanism; I found an appropriate set of tools for describing human differences. Where? In one of the most unlikely places--a physicist's textbook--under the heading of atoms! Almost instantly, I was intrigued with how accurately the characteristics of the main subatomic particles depict and parallel the characteristics of human behavior. Soon, I think you will, too.

THE BOHR MODEL OF THE ATOM

Niels H.D. Bohr, a Danish physicist, developed a model of the atom and its properties that was easy to understand and accurate enough to warrant a place in history. I believe his model, though now slightly modified, depicts not only the makeup of the atom but also the makeup of the human soul--our eternal Self.
Broadly, the atom is a quasi solar system comprised of a SUN and its PLANETS--a model that differs from our visible solar system only in that it depends on electrical states instead of gravitational forces.
Specifically, the nucleus or core of the atom is comprised of at least one positively charged proton and a similar number of non-polaric neutrons (found in all but the hydrogen atom). These weighted particles combine in a space one hundred thousand times smaller than the atom . . . by that creating a state through which they derive their energy. Encircling them in various layers, are negatively charged electrons--particles of opposite electric force and usually equal in number to the core's protons. Stable atoms must have the same number of negative electrons as there are positive protons in the nucleus. Electrons can exist only in ordered layers around the nucleus, not just anywhere in space. They may, however, be excited into higher energy levels by external forces without destroying the atom. We, too, function within similar perimeters and laws.

WHAT KIND OF SOUL AM I?
Am I a PROTON personality, a soul who thrives on attracting others to my cause? or a NEUTRON personality who thrives on being an integral part of some inner sanctum without having to run the show? maybe an ELECTRON, a soul who enjoys the luxury of an eighthour day and less responsibility? or am I all three and capable to change, at will, from one state to another? Who am I?

HOW SMALL OR LARGE IS MY CAUSE?
Am I a sole proton that is perfectly happy to attract only one other? or am I one of several nucleons who jointly thrive on attracting larger groups? Who am I?
If I am not a nucleon, then I must be an electron soul who needs to belong. But am I an electron who needs to belong to a simple nucleus or one who thrives on belonging to a larger and more complex cause?

CAN I CHANGE MY POLARITY?
Can a soul who attracts the positive, change to being a soul who attracts the negative? Or vice versa? Is there such a thing as a neutron soul? And if there is, is it the soul of an avatar--the mature soul of a teacher?
For years, physicists believed that nucleons had to remain nucleons and electrons had to remain electrons. Now, modern science has discovered that by or through fusion, decay, or bombardment (with photon beams), particles can significantly change their characteristics. Under certain conditions, some can even change their polaric state! In this context, we are no longer doomed or restricted to remain what we are. We can choose to change in one of three ways:

1. BY FUSION (The Christian Choice) . . . which is the act of merging intimately with the spirit of another . . . the act of merging with Christ.

2. BY DECAY (The Socialistic Choice) . . . the process of retreating . . . the process of replacing entrepreneurial skills with communal work ethics.

3. ENLIGHTENMENT (The Mystic's Choice) . . . the Conscious engineering of a spiritual exposure to the pure white light--satori--the artist's choice.

Neither of these choices should be construed to be superior; all are equally noble states. All are here to stay. Remember, God, the conscious and polarized energy of the universe, created us out of Itself in the full splendor of Its own diversity. Why shouldn't this heritage empower us to switch in either direction . . . at least for short periods of time? Let's discuss what changes are possible.

RESTRICTIONS:
Protons and neutrons, when bombarded by particle rays, can be caused to fuse or split. Controlled, this is the beginning of atomic energy. When uncontrolled, that same bombardment leads to an atomic explosion. It is accurate to say, protons and neutrons can change their polaric state only by force.
A proton's state is preserved by the act of bonding with neutrons, which act as buffers. Neutrons, in stable atoms, only exist to screen the electric forces of the protons . . . to prevent their mutual repulsion caused by like charges.
The major exception to this non-change characteristic of the proton is the beta decay of protons into neutrons (or neutrons into protons). This occurs in some unstable nuclei when the transformation produces a more stable product. The other change a proton indirectly influences is the process that creates positrons. Positrons (positive electrons) are not ordinarily present in this galaxy, but they are easily produced when high-energy photon or electron beams are forced through thin metal plates and come under the influence of the protons in the nuclei of that material. This type of interaction, which is really a BIRTH OF NEW LIFE, was discovered in 1934 by Carl Anderson.

A Neutron soul can change to give birth to both a proton and an electron . . . simultaneously. It can change, but only to produce a pair of oppositely charged particles. Therefore, to be one or the other, to be pure, a neutron soul has to give up its innate proton quality to become an electron, and vice versa. It has to give up one of its states to function in the pure state of the other. A neutron soul would do well to remain what it is: a buffer to protons and an inspiration to electrons--a supervisor and teacher. The presence of neutrons was suspected first in 1920 by Rutherford; twelve years later it was confirmed by James Chadwick who studied particle transmutations.

An Electron is more limited. It can change its character only by degrees of density within its own polaric state. It can change only within its own hierarchy. When in the outer sphere of its galaxy, an electron can float freely from one atom to another. When liberated by photon or electron particle beams, it can coexist with an anti-electron and travel as a pair. The laws of quantum mechanics state, "an electron in outer orbit has a higher POTENTIAL ENERGY than does an electron in a closer orbit around its nucleons." Yet the reverse is true with KINETIC ENERGY; electrons in outer orbit have a lower kinetic energy than do those nearer the nucleus.

BEFORE YOU MAKE A TRANSITION

1. Postulate your atomic makeup. (Ask yourself, "Do I thrive on being an electron, a proton, or a neutron?")

2. Establish whether you think you are on a journey from the simple to the complex, or the reverse.
3. Decide if you wish to change. (It might well be that you are exactly where you want to be!)
4. Settle on a desirable speed of growth (in either direction). . . . Faster is not always better!
5. Once resolved to make a change, contemplate the choices of new environments. If your next self is more physical than mental, prepare physically, if more mental, prepare mentally.
6. Prepare psychologically for the switch.

REMEMBER, the switch from the mixed state of a neutron to the pure state of an electron is comparatively easy; one simply needs to follow the teachings of any of our avatars. Switching from the mixed state of a neutron to the pure state of a proton has also been written about exhaustively; look at the many sales manuals! Even the switch from within one of the "pure" states of the electron to a higher or lower realm of its own hierarchy, is not too difficult. IT IS THE SWITCH BACK TO THE TRINITY OF LIFE THAT IS SO DIFFICULT . . . made difficult by our prejudices toward other lifestyles. It is made difficult by our conscious denial of our Father's other many mansions. Seek unity in diversity . . . not in sameness.
The model of a "NEW WORLD ORDER" will feature three sets of principles rather than one. I. e., the Electrons of life will be allowed to maintain political and religious monarchies; the Protons in each society will have the freedom to be entrepreneurs, and the Neutrons of life will have the right to free speech.

TO SUMMARIZE

1. Don't be in a hurry. Each of us is on a journey from God to God--on a journey from the simple to the complex and back. Therefore, your journey is likely to be in a permanent state of flux. Enjoy it!
2. Taoists explain this cycle, saying, "Within perfection festers a seed of destruction and within destruction stirs the seed of perfection." This is the WAY OF THE TAO.
3. The Judeo-Christian Bible (paraphrased) states, "God created everything that is, and He called everything GOOD." Yet within that goodness, He created contrasting forces assigned to the job of interacting with its environment to preserve life's delicate balance!
4. Whatever your makeup, whatever your chosen path, you are an integral part of polaric life. Your attitude toward these polarities determines whether you live in a heaven or a living hell.

THE METHOD:

Most of Aristotle's teachings were translated by means of long pedagogies of what translated words did NOT mean. His teachings were considered too important to be misinterpreted. Since it is equally important to understand the correct meaning for the words WILL, WOO and WORK, I chose to employ that same technique.

TO WILL:

To WILL does not mean to WISH or FANCY; these two words deal with the weak and irresponsible aspects of LONGING. To WILL does not mean to RESOLVE, for resolutions are usually the product of thorough analysis, which weaves restrictions and limits into a plan. Even an ARDENT DESIRE cannot be construed to be a healthy prerequisite for success. Ardent desires blind aspirants emotionally, thus keeping them insensitive to available fun along the way . . . even insensitive to detours and resting places! Neither will VELLEITY suffice as a cornerstone to freedom and success. To WILL is the act of willing or choosing ON ONE'S OWN VOLITION, ACCORDING TO ONE'S OWN PURPOSES.
IMPORTANT: To become a true propellant, WILLING has to become a STATE of decision, a state of consciousness. Willing has to become a habit, a CHARACTER TRAIT. It has to grow from being only the "I" in column "A" (of the table on pg 12) to being also the "AM" from column "B". Willing has to be a PRAYING WITHOUT CEASING. (I Thes.5:17)

TO WOO:

Wooing is the ACTIVE PURSUIT OF THAT, WHICH IS WILLED BY MEANS OF COURTSHIP AND ARTFUL

ENDEARMENTS. Woo also can mean: to ENTREAT or SOLICIT (when the allurement has the nature of some good), to ATTRACT or ENTICE TO BE ATTRACTED (through the medium of fair exchange), or to DRAW (through high principles or an aesthetic code of ethics). Wooing is the resourcefulness employed by sweethearts who wish to perpetuate the excitement of their love.
In the creation story, was it not the subconscious Eve who did the wooing? That was because the single-minded Conscious is not complex enough to woo effectively. When Adam woos, it tends to come through as pressure or falsified caring; it comes through as a selfish activity. Wooing needs to be a reciprocal exchange to serve as a prelude to fruitful labor.
Make wooing a habit. Once a subconscious response, wooing becomes the seasoning of romance and love, the essence of happiness.

TO WORK:

To WORK does not imply the general interpretation of labor and toil, though, at times, it may involve great and strenuous exertion or prolonged and fatiguing labor. It does not imply the meaning of drudgery or grind, though it may, at times, include exhausting and distasteful chores. To work it, does not imply you are to hasten or urge, nor does it suggest you should exploit. To work is not synonymous with performing a duty or carrying out an obligation . . . though we should, while working, stay aware of our responsibilities. The nature of work does not even have to be remunerative, artistic or idealistic. But, to be rewarding emotionally, work should be MEANINGFUL! "WORK" is the JOYFUL PERFORMANCE OF A SELF-CHOSEN TASK.
When viewed from a negative point of view, work will drain creative energies; when viewed positively, work

CREATES energy. The main secret is to choose to want to do it and then prepare for it as you would prepare for a date. Second, but not less important, is your decision to re-label all work activities as hobby activities. Why? Because hobbyists stay energetic for longer periods of time than do conventional workers. Hobbyists and lovers can go without sleep for unusually long periods of time while engaged in activities of romance and pleasure . . . which, I am sure, gave birth to the adage "Blessed are those whose hobby is their work."
When enjoyable and fun, work becomes a regenerative experience. Naturally, the question is whether we can consciously sustain this state of regeneration and refurbishment. Well, I believe we can. All it takes is a little bit of romance!
Think of it, since you have to work to keep a job, and you have to work to keep a marriage, why wouldn't you want to turn that job and marriage into a lover's skill? Why hold a treacherous job for eight hours and then spend money on a joyful diversion? Wouldn't it be thriftier emotionally and financially to view the terms WORK and HOBBY as synonyms? Think about it!

IN FINAL SUMMARY:

Rejoice in the knowledge that the I AM in EACH of us is a Godlike substance that lives forever. This will allow you to view physical death as a natural transition, not an eternal reality.

Decide to embrace the concept that YOU ARE BOTH ADAM AND EVE . . . that the creation story was not a license to practice chauvinism but an allegory explaining the birth of contemplative intelligence.

Celebrate your oneness with the trinity, but do not let this knowledge be the ultimate quest; let this be the beginning of an oscillating journey through life.

Realize, without remorse, that uniqueness is a quality possible only in areas of controversy. Stated in reverse: Reaching perfection is an aim possible only in matters of mind and spirit.

In a polar and changing universe, the seeking of unity in sameness is a frustrating contra-productive endeavor. Nature needs the full spectrum of diversity to maintain its balance and splendor.

Spontaneity is desirable and productive, but more so once one's predispositions and goals are established. Without goals, spontaneity resembles irresponsible drifting . . . as a ship without a captain or destiny. First, settle on a reason for living; settle on a purpose in life. Then allow spontaneity to guide you while working a formula such as my LSD resolve.

Apply the formula of WILL, WOO, AND WORK IT.
