The E:P:N Coach
I am an immigrant from Austria (1956, at age 19). Our many grandchildren call me Opa; my friends call me Coach. I used to provide fitness, dance, and confidence training ... collectively called "Quality of Life" training. Now, I simply coach young stragglers to catch up to their peers and I work with adults who wish to improve their station in life through learning Esperanto and then teaching abroad.Since early childhood, I was intrigued by the games people played to get one another to do things ... even when the doing of it was something they wanted to do. These peculiarities about teaching and learning fascinated me so much that, in 1957, their study became my avocation and career through starving and then prospering in the ballroom dance studio business, starting with 20 years at Arthur Murray's (in all capacities, including authorized national coach).
My second 20-year segment didn't turn out to be as successful. Though fully trained and ordained in the Science of Mind, my eclectic approach to teaching was not in vogue (in 1976) and I refused to narrow and focus my approach to make the ministry a success. The result: I went back into the dance studio business . . . for five years under Co-op Dance Studio and then, after a few months out of town, as Dance Emporium on Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando (where we had excellent teachers and the largest dance floor in town).
In 1991, because of an almost fatal accident, I was led to study computer technologies, became a contract programmer (in 1993), and graduated, with distinction, from NOVA Southeastern University with a baccalaureate in business management (1996) which first led into my work with youngsters and then with Mortensen more than Math™ My postgraduate studies are on teaching and psychology with a prejudice for theories espoused in my E:P:N Analysis™. To truly tailor the learning process is my objective. To foster international friendship and goodwill is my aim. My teaching platforms are Elluminate Live!, now Blackboard Collaborate. and Moodle. Both are best accessed though gefratoj.org.
